LIVE2D Terms of Service ( Model & Rig)

ᯓ★ GENERAL

◇ English is not my first language, so please be patient with me and write more clearly what you want

◇ By commissioning me, you agree to have read and fully agreed to my terms of service

◇ First come, first serve. If you want to have your commissions prioritized, please pay an extra fee of 50% of the total commission price

◇ You are not allowed to re-sell the Live2D model (w/o permission), redistribute the files, or claim the artwork as your own. Please contact me if you wish to edit/add on the model.

◇ By default, I'll only be attaching a configured settings file for the tracking software - VTube Studio. I will not be attaching any extra files for other tracking software.

ᯓ★ PAYMENTS

◇ For Live2D, I only accept half of the payment, 50% upfront, and the remaining 50% will be paid when the progress is halfway done.

 

◇ I will ONLY start working on your commission after receiving the agreed payment

ᯓ★ EXTRAS

     - +$10 ~ +$250 for complex design

 

     ( Applies to all categories )

 

     - $10 ~ $50 for animal features like ears, tails, wings, or horns

 

     - $5 ~ $50 per expression ( ++ for complex or animated expressions)

 

     - $30 ~ $80 per arm pose ( ++ if usable with multiple outfits, includes props, or is animated)

 

     - $100+ for a mascot or pet

     

- $Varies for props, animations, and other additions

 

     - $30 for a cheek puff

     - $50 for tongue out

     ( iOS devices with FaceID only)

     - ~$100 (Rig) / ~$250 (Model) / ~$300 (Model + Rig) for an extra outfit

     - ~$80 (Rig) / ~$100 (Model) / ~$150 (Model + Rig) for an additional hairstyle

Note : Prices will vary greatly based on complexity and how much of the original model is reused.

 

── .✦ How to estimate add-on costs:

     - The lower end of the range is for rigging only.

     - Model + Rig prices start around the middle of the price range.

     - Complexity of the add-on will affect the price.

     - Full-body outfits cost more than half-body ones.

 

      Cost reductions:

     - Very simple designs or new outfits

     - Full-body models that need little rigging below the waist

 

 

ᯓ★ REVISIONS

◇ You may request revisions at the sketch phase till you are satisfied, only minor revisions when sent the final model/final rig. Any revisions deemed as major will be charged a fee.

 

◇ Changes such as completely different poses, characters, outfits, etc.

are not allowed if I have already started rendering the piece.

 

 

ᯓ★ DEADLINES AND DELIVERY

◇ Please safely expect 4 - 6 weeks for rig-only and 8 - 16 weeks for model + rig for completion of your commission. It may take less time if I have less commissions in my work queue ahead of yours, or it may take longer if my work queue is full (I will tell you this in advance.) This does not include extra time required for extra outfits / hairstyles. This window will start when I begin your project, not when you are given a slot!

 

◇ Delay may arise depending on next factors : order of commission, complexity, health, work, school, or family issues.

 

◇ You can let me know anytime you'd like to get add-ons, you will be added to the queue and contacted to begin when I reach your slot!

 

 

ᯓ★ INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

◇ I retain all the rights to my work, which include but are not limited to the right to distribute, reproduce, copy and/or use the image as a sample for sales or self-promotion.

 

◇ Always credit me as the artist on every social media you use your model.

 

◇ I am allowed to post the commission on my social media + use it as a sample. Please inform me if you wish to keep the commission private till debut!

ᯓ★ CLIENT IS ALLOWED TO...

◇ Use the copyrighted artwork for personal use only

◇ Use the art to promote themselves with proper credit given to the artist

◇ Claiming rights to the character, but not the drawing itself

◇ Sharing/Reposting the artwork any place they see fit, with proper credit.

◇ Printing the artwork for personal use only.

 

With commercial rights you are allowed to:

◇ Make money like merch with the artwork

◇ Use to your liking and promote your own brand with

◇ Promotional content (Ads)

◇ Using the artwork in stream platform such as Youtube and Twitch (thumbnail etc)

Note : Credit to the artist is still required for usage of the artwork

 

ᯓ★ REFUNDS

◇ You can only cancel the commissions before I start working on them. In that case, I will refund 90% of the total price of the commissions

◇ I don't do refunds if I started working on your commission.

 

ᯓ★ COMMUNICATION

◇ Work In Progress will be given to the commissioner at each step of the process.
